How do you open flash player after you have installed it?

I have just successfully installed Adobe flash player, the newest version as of Febuary 20, 2008. I downloaded and installed it at the official site. Now i have no idea how to open it!! Please help me someone!

How do you open flash player after you have installed it?
Flash player program is installed as plugins in your computer.

So in simply, to play any flash movie which has extension of SWF (Shockwave flash), get any flash file of type *.swf and just execute it directly ( by pressing enter key or double click of your mouse).

Or you can see probably, all newer version of flash animation in your web browser, since it is newer, might be Flash Player version 9.x.x you have installed.

Is there any laptop manufacturer who uses flash memories for their hard drive?

My Sony PCG TR-5 needs a new hard drive. I want to replace it with a flash memory if it is possible. If not I would like to buy a laptop using flash memory as the hard drive. Any ideas?

no but theres 3rd party ones http://www.simpletech.com/
Reply:You're looking for whats called "Solid State drives". They are as they seem, no moving or mechanical parts. The drives work by utilising memory chips.

At the moment though, they are very expensive for what capacity you get. I'd stick with conventional drives for now unless you've got that kind of money to spend.

Try googling "Solid state drives" for more information %26amp; prices on them.
Reply:Asus Eee PC

They use a Solid State Hard Drive base on flash memory.

How do I edit certain frames in an embedded movie in Flash?

I'm using Macromedia Flash Professional 8, and I have imported a movie file. How can I edit a few frames without the changes affecting all the frames. Example: I want a gun muzzle flash, so I want to have a flash of colour just for a couple frames, but when I do it, the muzzle flash is on every frame, and not just the frames I drew it on. What do I do?

How do I edit certain frames in an embedded movie in Flash?
You just open your Flash document.

Click on FILE menu

Click on open

Select the file which you want to edit

Then click on Ok

The selected file will be inserted into your flash document.

Then you can select or change or edit your flash movie as you want.

Go on,

Good luck.

I hope that i helped.
Reply:Just put the key frames where you want the flash to show.

How to take professional quality indoor digital pictures with no flash and no camera stand?

I guess I need a professional digital camera, but which one, and with what equipment?

An example of what I want to do: I see photographers taking excellent shots at concerts (indoor) without using a flash, and holding the camera in their hands.

How to take professional quality indoor digital pictures with no flash and no camera stand?
If you do get a DSLR or the like, get one with high ISO setting (1600-3200), a lens with a big aperture (F/2.8 or lower would be nice) and Image Stabilization (for Canon) or VR (for nikon) which gives you the ability to handhold about 3 stops less then you normally would be able to.

Also as mentioned, your shutter speed should not be lower then the focal length you're shooting at, i.e. at 200mm, your min shutter speed is 1/200. Any lower and it will show up blur unless you have IS/VR assist.
Reply:First, switch your ISO to 1000 or more if possible.

Second, don't zoom more than the speed of the shudder --%26gt; for example, if your shudder speed is 1/125th of a second, dont zoom to more than 125mm.

Third, try to use something else (that doesnt move) as a support -- most pros carry bean bags with them.

Fourth - you dont need a professional camera, I took this with a point-and-shoot

Reply:due to the low lighting in indoor environments your shutter speed will be to low to produce a crisp image, no matter which camera you buy. If you must take low light pictures buy 800-1600 ISO film or set your digital camera to the 800-1600 ISO setting. This will allow your shutter to be quick but will produce noise (with a digital camera) or grain (with a film camera) It is possible to improve grainy images but you lose image quality in the process.

What are some good virtual chat websites for preteens that don't require flash player?

My computer will not install flash player for some reason. I really need some good virtual chat websites that don't require flash to play. I already know about Runescape, so please don't suggest that.

Try Gaia Online or Neopets.

Neopets does require Flash to play games but you don't have to play them. If my memory serves me well I'm sure Gaia doesn't use Flash for any of their interactivity.

Flash drives have memory chips in them that are able to be written and read fast depending on the size.
