Neopets does require Flash to play games but you don't have to play them. If my memory serves me well I'm sure Gaia doesn't use Flash for any of their interactivity.

they are the same as Brenda M stated. the basics of Flash have not changed much since even the very early versions. it is much more robust now with action scripts and dynamic data-binding, etc. and is much more of a platform than a simple vector graphic tweener set to a time-line, but the basics are still very much the same. to really be able to use Flash, you need to know the basics and almost any tutorial can get you started. once you get that down, you'll be better equipped to start looking for help with what you want to do with it next.

After you put the drive in ...on the main menu goto Video once the drive is highlighted press triangle not X.. select view all files. the files should show up. then select all or what ever files you want to copy , it will prompt you for a destination...Or you can just watch them from the drive.

I keep getting a message that it does not recognize the device. I called the tech support for the flash drive and they took me through some steps and then said that I don't have a driver in my Windows XP that will recognize it and to call Windows support. I can't find a support number or email for Windows and I have tried to find a downloadable driver for the USB but can't find anything. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

the only driver you would need is USB and that's built in to everything newer than windows 98. Why it's not recognized is that it's a USB 2.0 flash drive and your usb port is probably USB 1.1. see if you have another port on your computer that is usb 2.0 compliant.

I am using an XML-based flash image gallery and I need the images to get smaller if the user's browser window is smaller. And the images would be larger (until they reach their maximum size) when the user makes the browser window larger.

Sorry if my question seems silly but I'm really confused... Do you need a slave flash/.external flash to bounce off the light of a reflector? Or the flourescent/halogen/etc does it?

sfc /scannow
remember that u may need the windows XP cd if there are missing files.

The barrel would have to be machined out and the top sealed. But be careful, because modifying it that way has the potential to be against the law. Contact a machine shop that specializes in firearms. They would know ATF regulations.

I know to you regulars here this must be such an easy question. I think I know how but I just want to double check in case I'm screwing up somehow.
I do it by right clicking on that green arrow next to my screen clock and selecting "Safely Remove Hardware" and then choosing to stop my flash drive. Am I doing this correctly?

Sometimes I look in the miror then take a picture, but when the flash shines I usually look ugly while in the mirror I looked fine? Why is this?

Quality - soft or hard light. The bigger the light source relative to the subject the softer it is. A tiny flash on the camera is very small and therefore very harsh and NOT flattering. Bouncing a flash off of a wall or ceiling softens it. In a pinch you can put a tissue in front of the flash to diffuse it.
Quantity - how much light. Most likely your flash is very bright on you and the background is disproportionately dark. There's math to explain why but I'll skip it. You may do better to stabilize the camera and shoot without flash.
Direction - When light comes from above or to the side of a subject the light defines the shape of the subject through highlights and shadows and the transition between them. (In harsh light mentioned above the transition is very quick. In soft light it's just a smooth blend from shadow to highlight.) But when you use on-camera flash the light is coming from the same direction as the lens so all the highlights face the camera and all the shadows are hidden behind the subject.
1. Get the light off of the camera. Use the lights in a room if possible, but make sure the camera doesn't shake because it will be a slower shot.

Why does my wireless connection drop when I plug in my flash drive?
I'm running Windows XP and have a USB wireless adapter. If I plug in my flash drive while I'm connected to the wireless my connection drops. To get it back I have to unplug the flash drive and unplug and plug back in the wireless adapter. Why are they conflicting? I should be able to use both.

If you dont have any luck I would then try reinstalling your wireless card driver. To do this go to the Control Panel and select Device Manager. Find your wireless card from the list and uninstall the driver. Then insert the disc that came with the card and install it again. If this doesnt work try using different flash drives. Also try doing a registry cleanup and defrag. If all else fails and you cant find a solution you could try reinstalling your OS.

If you want to make fewer trips consider burning the files onto a CD, or even better a DVD. I have seen before people doing things like leaves flying around in flash. How do you do that? Is it difficult? Is the file going to be big? Any advice will be appreciated.
