ok i was driving home fro Tucson and on the interstate every time i passed a truck driver they would flash their brights on me. so what does that mean?
What does it mean when truck drivers flash their brights at you?
If they are behind you, it means move over...
If they are coming at you, they are letting you know they saw a cop where you're heading...
Or, if you are behind them and they shut their lights on and off its a thankyou for you letting them pass you.
Reply:That means that you have passed a safe distance to move into their lane and continue your trip.
Reply:usually used by trucker,s for other trucker,s.......indicating that their clear to merge right if they want to.........but if they were coming at you ...on the other side of the road....it,s a warning that there,s police activity ahead or possible other problem.
Reply:theres a cop coming or sitting in the direction you are going, just a guess..
Reply:either that there is a policecar waiting ahead or that your brights are on and they want you to turn them off.
Reply:They R trying to tell u just get out of their way
