Can I transfer over video and music files from one computer to another using a USB flash drive?

I just got a laptop and I was wondering if I could transfer all my video (movie) files and music (mp3) files that are stored on my desktop onto the laptop through a USB flash drive/memory stick? Or is there any other way to transfer all that data faster and easier? Thanks!

Yes you can, but depending upon the size of your pocket drive you may have to make several trips, also large videos may not fit in one pass which means you will have to break it up with video software. If you want to make fewer trips consider burning the files onto a CD, or even better a DVD. If you have the ability create an ISO image of the files and put them onto a DVD then you can fit a lot more info on the disc.
Reply:yes
Reply:Yes, you can. It would be easier if the two machines were networked together, but if not, just drag the content onto the flash drive, including a backup of your DRM files if needed, and then copy them onto the other computer.
Reply:Yes you can. Except the flashdrive has to have enough space for everything. Or you could just take one thing at a time.
