Reply:Go to the manufacturer's Web site of the flash drive and download the drivers for Windows 98. Drivers are required for a Windows 98 system to recognize it.
Reply:Go to the manufacturer site and find the driver for 98.
Reply:Windows 98 needs a driver for all flash driver(USB) XP, 2000. and Vista don't need any drivers for flash support...Thanks
Reply:Your flash drive manufacturer may not have written a driver for Windows 98, but there may be a 3rd party one available out there, do a google search for the product name with "win 98 driver" added on the end.

This happened to us with a Dell USB flash key drive.
Reply:You need the driver for it. Go to to the manufacture of the product and you have to get it from them. Trust me it is a pain in the rear to try to get it working. You really need to upgrade to XP. I suggest the full version on a pc that comes with it automatically.
