How come it keeps saying I have my javascript off and I need to DL the new flash player?

Well I have windows vista i must have downloaded the new updated flash player a million times and the same thing keeps appearing..SO what to do? And i checkedf that my Javascript is on, maybe I did it wrong , if so, please explain.

I think you are trying to play some online games eg. yahoo games and it keeps saying : enable the java script in your browser and install adobe flash player.





If that is the problem please read on. Otherwise please give more info.





1. Adobe flashplayer: install the flash player ( i know you already did but do again). After you see text saying you have installed it successfully, scroll down and click on trouble shooting the flash player. Find Uninstaller for flash player, download it and save it to Desktop. Close all the windows including Adobe page. This is MOST important step. Then click on uninstaller on the desktop. Now the flashplayer is gone.





Go to adobe page again via IE, install flash player again. Now it is all set.





2. java script: I hope you are using IE 7. Go to tools, then internet options, then click on Security tab. Click on Custom level. Scroll down to Scripting. Under Active scripting check Enable . This is also set.





Try to play the game. Any question, please give more info.

Reply:I get that everytime because I use a portable version of firefox. Java is installed but not in the firefox folder that it runs from.
