I found a tutorial ebook on flash and am confused if its for Micromedia or adobe flash software?

Am planning to study web page designing.I am confused if micromedia or adobe flash are the same?

I found a tutorial ebook on flash and am confused if its for Micromedia or adobe flash software?
they are the same as Brenda M stated. the basics of Flash have not changed much since even the very early versions. it is much more robust now with action scripts and dynamic data-binding, etc. and is much more of a platform than a simple vector graphic tweener set to a time-line, but the basics are still very much the same. to really be able to use Flash, you need to know the basics and almost any tutorial can get you started. once you get that down, you'll be better equipped to start looking for help with what you want to do with it next.

Reply:well adobe basically bough macromedia so soon it will be Adobe Flash not Macromedia.
Reply:adobe bought macromedia. These are the same software.
