What skills do you need to have to be able to create games using Flash format?

Also, can anyone lead me to a basic tutorial on FLASH animation, the program itself, as well as games using flash?

I would recomend the book Beginning Flash Game Programming for Dummies, this will give you all the basic to get started even if you have little programming expirence, you cna also find 30 day trials of flash 8 available online to get you started
