How do i get my Flash memory to work?

My Flash memory stick has stopped being recognized by my PC. Whern I activate the removable storage display in the Computer Management Console, it shows a red circle with a white cross next to the device. I can't delete the device because it says "Only 'Not present' libraries can be deleted" How can reset the PC to recognize the device?

How do i get my Flash memory to work?
Have you tried removing it and re-inserting it in another USB post?

If you have or that isn't an option, shut down the computer, remove the stick, re-start, and if there's any software for the stick, then re-install it, and try again!

If there's no software, then hopefully it'll work after a system re-start!

Good luck!
Reply:What operating system are u using. (am assuming its Windows XP). Go to device manager (Right click on My Computer-%26gt;Properties-%26gt;Hardware-%26gt;Device Manager) and see if you can remove the flash memory device from there. It should be listed in the removable memory section. Reboot the PC and see if this helps.
