I have the Nikon SB-600 flash.. i have not been able to get a diffuser yet, any suggestions on how i can make one?
How can I make a diffuser for my flash?
Go to cloth shop and buy some white rip stop nylon. Cut it to size and tape it over your flash. This is the quick, inexpensive way that works great.
Reply:The bottom 2 or 3 inches of a translucent white alcohol bottle works great, just like a Stofen. Just cut the bottle and slip it on, you might need some tape. Don't forget to adjust your exposure, diffusion devices, whether home made or not, eat up flash power.
Reply:Somebody told me the bottom of a Tums bottle works very well.
Reply:Take a clean plastic quart sized deli container. Put the lid on it and cut an "X" in the lid. Then remove as much of the bottom as you can. Place it upside down on your flash (the "x' should let it slip on. and point your flash up towards the ceiling. Just like Gary Fongs Globe, but MUCH cheaper!
Reply:Alternatively, tape a piece of tracing (or even greaseproof) paper over it.
Reply:Tape and a tissue...it doesn't last very long like maybe 2 weeks of constant use but it still works
Reply:Here are videos on how to make bounce cards.

The cards work great, they really do, the videos numb your mind, try it you'll see what I mean. LOL
