I know a lot of html but I want to go into a more advance web style design so flash hit me as the only option. I'm wondering if there are any tutorials and the best programs to use to be able to create wonderful websites.
What is the best way to start learning flash?
First off, Flash is not "a more advanced web style design". It's something else that just happens to run while embedded in a web page, much like a Java applet or a media player plug-in. But it also has other, more appropriate uses.
Second, try visiting the FlashKit website and ActionScript.org for tutorials and potential applications.
Third, the best programme for creating Flash is Adobe Flash. Although others can export to SWF, like OpenOffice Impress, but I won't bet on getting much ActionScript support form them.
Fourth, Flash has very little to do with creating wonderful websites. But if you want to create wonderful Flash applications to enhance your website, then knowing XML is essential.
Reply:i would suggest to take a class
Reply:There's a lot of free online courses that can help you, just google for them. If you're more interested in a visual (and sometimes "for dummies") course, you can try the ones from TotalTraining ( http://www.totaltraining.com ). They're a little costly, but are a good option to learn Flash without leaving your house. The ones from http://www.lynda.com are also a good option.
