What is the best way to learn to build a flash website?

Aside from going to college obviously, can anyone recommend any websites or books that are good at teaching someone to build flash?

Also, I have Adobe After Effects CS2. Can I use that to make flash or do I need a specific program like Swish Max?

Lastly, if you know how to build flash, what program (s) do you use?

Thanks!

There are a lot of great tutorials, free samples, and audio files on that site. Flash can import most files types, I think if you made a clip from effects it should be able to be imported into Flash without a problem.

I use FlashMX2004 - Adobe Photoshop CS2 - Adobe Premiere
Reply:try this website.

Reply:Hi,

the best way to learn flash is through a good book, Internet still a very good option, but with a book the topics are more related and don't lack consistency.

this is a good book (Foundation Flash CS3 for Designers, by Tom Green and David Stiller)

good luck
Reply:I believe Adobe has tutorials on their site. I remember getting an email with a link, after I downloaded the CS3 trial, but I apparantly have deleted it. Visit adobe's site and you should be able to find the information.

Another tutorial source is http://www.w3schools.com/flash/default.a... I've been using this site to get back up to speed on HTML/XHTML and other web tools. It is a pretty good site with tons of examples. Try it out.
