If I were to transfer music from computer to computer using a 1gb flash drive, about how many songs could I transfer at a time? What about videos/music?

Close to 200 music files. Could be significantly more or less, depending on the quality and/or lengths of the recordings.

why not just look at how much music you have in itunes then you know how many times you have to fill it and move files around
why not just get an external hard drive and back up. then plug into other pc?

Reply:It just depends on the format and quality. You could fit one CD worth of extremely high quality sound in there or you could use a common mp3 bitrate of 128 (i prefer 192-320) you could probably fit 100 or more. To transfer them all you have to do is cut or copy some or all of the media on the flash drive and then paste it to the computer you are working on. It may take a minute for all that information to trasfer over so be patient.
