What the difference between Nikon SB-800 and Nikon SB-80DX FLASH?

I have a Nikon D2000 camera and a 5100 I just want to know the best flash to use and if there is any real difference in the two?

What the difference between Nikon SB-800 and Nikon SB-80DX FLASH?
There is a real difference

SB-80x

*This is obsolete as of 2004. It was Nikon's top flash when introduced in 2002, however it doesn't have the latest i-TTL system needed for optimum, or in some cases, any, operation with the newer Nikon DSLR's

SB-800

*The SB-800 was announced 22 July 2003. It is Nikon's best flash. It works with every Nikon camera made for the past 40 years. It's the only flash, along with the almost identical SB-600, that works properly with the new i-TTL exposure system
Reply:The SB 800 has i-TTL Balanced Fill-Flash, the SB80DX has TTL Balanced Fill-Flash. Here is the specs.

Reply:The SB-800 is designed to work with Nikon digital cameras, whose sensors react to light in a different manner than film.
